Of all animals DOGS are those which I can establish a deep friend relationship with, "nearly human". Since I was a child I always had a dog, to respect and to play with, to attend to and to learn from.
I take advantage of this corner in order to remember that all animals, and in specific dogs, are not toys or "things" of which making show.
Sincerely I think that is better do not have a dog rather than abandoning it before going to holidays or making suffer it in narrow spaces, or leaving it all alone all the day long in its little space. All these pets are faithfull door-stop, book-end, paper-weight, why don't you adopt one of them?
They will give welcome to your friends with their sweet eyes.
